Asystole

Asystole refers to a type of cardiac arrest in which the heart's electrical activity stops entirely, causing the heart to stop beating. Symptoms include unconsciousness and breathing cessation. Since asystole in non-shockable, it must be treated immediately through other means besides defibrillation such as CPR or medication.
