Junctional Rhythm

A junctional rhythm refers to an arrhythmia due to issues with the sinoatrial (SA) node, which maintains the heart's pace, and may thus lead to issues with the heart beating too slowly or quickly. This results in poor delivery of oxygenated blood throughout the body. While mild cases may go unnoticed, more severe cases can result in symptoms like chest palpitations, shortness of breath, fatigue, fainting, etc.
