Concept

Binge Eating Disorder (BED)

Binge eating disorder is a psychological condition involving eating binges that are not accompanied by inappropriate compensatory behaviors, such as purging. Instead, these episodes are followed by significant distress, including feelings of guilt and embarrassment, which serves to distinguish the disorder from standard overeating.
