Bipolar I Disorder, With Rapid Cycling, and Bipolar II Disorder, With Rapid Cycling as Differential Diagnoses to Cyclothymic Disorder

Both disorders may resemble cyclothymic disorder by virtue of the frequent marked shifts in mood, but bipolar I disorder and bipolar II disorder with rapid cycling require the full mood episodes, and cyclothymic disorder not.
