Clear Line-Item Estimates for Electrical Options

Each customer estimate should show labor, materials, and any taxes as separate, visible line items. Breaking the price into parts helps the customer understand what they are paying for, which makes the total feel more reasonable and easier to accept. Use everyday language for each line item—for example, say "install new kitchen circuit" instead of an internal job code or abbreviation. A clear estimate supports the same plain-speaking approach used when explaining the work itself.
