Clear Pricing With Firm Scope Boundaries

A contractor can be open about cost and timing without giving away control of the project. Customers should be told enough to understand why the work costs what it does, why a permit or inspection may add time, and what is included in the agreed price. At the same time, any request beyond the signed agreement should be treated as new work, acknowledged politely, and handled through a formal change-order process. That approach protects trust and prevents unpaid extras from turning into lost profit.
