Comorbidity of Eating Disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder: Past Treatment Studies

Previously, researchers have examined the effects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy on OCD and EDs by looking at and treating the two disorders separate from each other. However, in patients with comorbid EDs and OCD, the relationship between the disorders suggest that treating both simultaneously may have positive effects on symptoms of both disorders. When symptoms of one is improved, its possible that symptoms of the other will improve too.
