Comparison of Work-Leisure Choices: Mexico vs. US

A comparison of Mexico and the US, which have the lowest and highest wages respectively in the analyzed group, reveals that American workers enjoy both more free time and higher consumption. This observation does not rule out the possibility that workers in both countries share similar preferences. It is plausible that if Mexican workers earned the higher US wage, their work-leisure choices would align with those of American workers.
