Cost-Effectiveness of Production Methods

A company can produce 100 units of a product using either of two methods. Method Alpha requires 5 hours of labor and 10 kg of raw material. Method Beta requires 5 hours of labor and 12 kg of raw material. A colleague claims that if the price of raw material falls significantly, Method Beta could become the more cost-effective option. Explain why this colleague's reasoning is flawed.
