COVID-19 Environmental Effects
Altered human activity as a result of COVID-19 produced various effects on the environment, both positive and negative. These effects often correlated with lockdown periods and included variations in types of manmade pollutants. While some research indicates these effects are due to natural fluctuations and cannot be attributed to the pandemic, understanding how human activity may or may not impact the environment is important for predicting future environmental health.
