In the proposal panel, before submitting the proposal by clicking on the submit button, you need to provide a summary of your proposal. This summary will be shown in the list of proposals. If a 1Cademist is interested in your proposal, they'll click it and will read your complete proposal with your avatar attached to it.

To propose any improvements on a node or any type of new child node for a node, it is required to provide justification and reasoning for why and how your proposed modifications on the map can help other 1Cademists.

In order to submit a proposal, you need to click on the "post" icon. By clicking on this icon its color changes to green. Before submitting your proposal you have to provide "summary" and "reasoning" for the proposal.

Types of child node proposal

To create a node you have to submit your proposal so that if it is accepted by the community, your modifications will be applied. To create a new node you can click the Pencil icon in the toolbar, the proposal panel appears on the right sidebar of the page. You can propose different kinds of nodes. When you chose one of those node types, a new blank node appears on the map. You can apply your modifications to that blank node and submit your proposal to be reviewed by others. To submit your proposal you need to provide a summary of your proposal (usually 3-6 words) and Justification why you propose this specific modification on the map.

A node is considered "modified" either directly or indirectly when one or more of the following occurs: 
- Direct modification: When a proposal for an improvement to an existing node has been posted and approved.  
-  Indirect modification: (1) When a proposal for an improvement to a directly linked parent/child node has been posted and approved.  (2) A parent/child node has been deleted.

Modifications in 1Cademy

To add a new node to 1Cademy map, you need to create a proposal. For this purpose, after identifying the prerequisite node, you should click the "Proposals" button on the node footer and click the appropriate proposal type from the list that shows up on the right, depending on the child node you'd like to add. Then, you'll see a new child node appears under your chosen prerequisite node. Replace its title and content. If necessary, upload an image for it. For each proposal, you also need to enter the summary of your proposal and justifications for why you propose this new node. Enter these two in their specified text boxes on the right sidebar. Finally, click the "Post" button.
Note that you cannot modify the type of a node after proposing it.

To edit or modify an existing node you can submit an improvement proposal. To do so after clicking on the pencil icon the proposal panel appears, on the proposal lists you can click on the following icon to propose a modification. when you click on this icon the node will be selected(highlighted) and you can edit the followings:

3.Picture
4.Reference
5.Tags
6.Parent and child relations

Editing a node by submitting an improvement proposal

To propose a modification to a node, you should click the "Proposals" button on the node footer and then click the corresponding button in the right-hand sidebar to propose an improvement on the node.
Then, you'll be able to edit the node title, content, image, choices (in question nodes), parent and child relations, references, and tags.
Finally, enter the summary and justification for your proposal and click the "Post" button.
