When you select ”Click to propose an improvement on this node” in the proposal panel, the node will be selected and if the node contains a picture, the following icon will be shown on the top-right corner of the picture. By clicking on that icon you can delete the existing picture and then add a new photo in the next stage. Keep in mind that for any changes you have to provide a summary and justification of your modification.

A node is considered "modified" either directly or indirectly when one or more of the following occurs: 
- Direct modification: When a proposal for an improvement to an existing node has been posted and approved.  
-  Indirect modification: (1) When a proposal for an improvement to a directly linked parent/child node has been posted and approved.  (2) A parent/child node has been deleted.

Modifications in 1Cademy

To add a new node to 1Cademy map, you need to create a proposal. For this purpose, after identifying the prerequisite node, you should click the "Proposals" button on the node footer and click the appropriate proposal type from the list that shows up on the right, depending on the child node you'd like to add. Then, you'll see a new child node appears under your chosen prerequisite node. Replace its title and content. If necessary, upload an image for it. For each proposal, you also need to enter the summary of your proposal and justifications for why you propose this new node. Enter these two in their specified text boxes on the right sidebar. Finally, click the "Post" button.
Note that you cannot modify the type of a node after proposing it.

Adding a new node to 1Cademy

To create a node you have to submit your proposal so that if it is accepted by the community, your modifications will be applied. To create a new node you can click the Pencil icon in the toolbar, the proposal panel appears on the right sidebar of the page. You can propose different kinds of nodes. When you chose one of those node types, a new blank node appears on the map. You can apply your modifications to that blank node and submit your proposal to be reviewed by others. To submit your proposal you need to provide a summary of your proposal (usually 3-6 words) and Justification why you propose this specific modification on the map.

To propose a modification to a node, you should click the "Proposals" button on the node footer and then click the corresponding button in the right-hand sidebar to propose an improvement on the node.
Then, you'll be able to edit the node title, content, image, choices (in question nodes), parent and child relations, references, and tags.
Finally, enter the summary and justification for your proposal and click the "Post" button.
