Cultural Differences in the Big Five Personality Traits
Research has identified variations in the average levels of the Big Five personality traits across different cultural groups. For example, individuals in collectivist Asian cultures tend to exhibit lower levels of extroversion. In contrast, people in Central and South American cultures often score higher on openness to experience, while Europeans tend to score higher on neuroticism.
