In Section 60 of Jami's Haft Awrang, the poet provides a profound mystical commentary on the Quranic verse, 'Wherever you turn, there is the Face of Allah' (2:115). Jami explains that whichever direction a believer faces with the intention of worshiping and serving God, they are facing the Divine Reality (Haqq).

Universal Manifestation

Since the Quranic verse does not exclude any location, the Divine presence is manifest everywhere, making all of physical space a locus of divine revelation.

The Vision of the Gnostic (Arif)

A true gnostic is one who beholds the beauty of the Divine in every direction they look. No worldly occupation, duty, or daily concern can act as a veil (hijab) or obscure the light of their spiritual sun.

Perpetual Remembrance

Because human life is transient and its end is unknown, the seeker is urged to maintain constant contemplation and choose nothing but the direct witnessing of God (shuhud) in all matters of life.
