از نبی اینما تولوا خوان
ثم وجه اللاه ش متمم دان

یعنی آن سو که روی قصد آری
تا حق بندگیش بگزاری

وجه حق کان بود حقیقت او
باشد آنجا به سوی او کن رو

هیچ جا را نکرد استثنا
پس بود عین حق عیان همه جا

عارف حق شناس را باید
که به هر سو که دیده بگشاید

بیند آنجا جمال حق پیدا
نگسلد از جمال حق قطعا

رو به هر چیز کاورد هر دم
در فضای حوایج عالم

هیچ شغلی حجاب او نشود
پرده آفتاب او نشود

در حوایج خدای را بیند
جز شهود خدای نگزیند

زانکه معلوم بنده نیست که کی
به سر آید حیات فانی وی

دم آخر کسی کز اهل جهان
داد بر هیأت مشاهده جان

چون برآرد سر از نشمین خاک
چشم و جانش بود به حضرت پاک

وان کزین منزل خراب گشت
لیک با ظلمت حجاب گذشت

خیزد از قبر تیره خوار و خجل
پشت بر آفتاب و رو در ظل

تا ابد مایل هوا و هوس
ناکس الرأس ماند آن ناکس

English translation

Read from the Prophet: 'Wherever you turn,' And know 'there is the Face of Allah' as its completion. Meaning, whichever direction you face and intend, In order to perform the duty of His servitude, The Face of Truth, which is His reality, Is present there; so turn your face toward Him. He excluded no place whatsoever, Therefore, the very essence of Truth is manifest everywhere. It behooves the God-knowing mystic That in whichever direction he opens his eyes, He should see the beauty of Truth manifest there, And never sever himself from the beauty of Truth. Whichever thing he turns his face toward at every moment, In the realm of worldly needs, No occupation should become a veil for him, Nor become a curtain hiding his Sun. In all needs, he should see God, And choose nothing but the witnessing of God. Because it is not known to the servant when His fleeting life will come to an end. At the last breath, anyone from the people of the world Who surrendered their soul in the state of contemplation (witnessing), When they raise their head from the nest of dust, Their eye and soul will be directed toward the Holy Presence. But he who departed from this ruined abode, Yet passed away with the darkness of the veil, Will rise from the dark grave wretched and ashamed, With his back to the sun and his face in the shadow. Forever inclined toward passion and desire, That ignoble person will remain base-headed.
