Dose-Dependent Effect of Sleep Deprivation on Cognition

The cognitive impairments resulting from sleep deprivation are not static; their severity increases proportionally with the amount of sleep lost. This means that the more an individual is sleep-deprived, the more pronounced the deficits in functions like attention, decision-making, and memory will become.
