E-funding is when technology is used in order to gain money for the movement. The movement can gain money through online donations, auctions, and selling products.

Digital transition activities are the middle category in regards to impact and volume of actions.

Digital petitions are ways for individuals to gain attention from policymakers and the government. Most digital petitions have a rule that after so many votes of support or approval that the government or a section of it will review and discuss the topic.

Botivism is a robot/bot that is a virtual activist. The bot(s) are programmed to answer questions, share information, ask for funds, garner attention, and support.
