Gender Similarities Hypothesis
The gender similarities hypothesis argues that men and women are fundamentally similar across the vast majority of psychological variables. Based on reviews of effect sizes, researchers have found that while large differences exist in a few specific areas, most psychological sex differences yield a Cohen's d of less than , representing a trivial difference.
