The allocations from a game's payoff matrix can be visually represented on a coordinate plane. Typically, one player's payoffs are plotted on the horizontal axis and the other player's on the vertical axis. Each point on this graph represents a possible allocation from the game, often labeled with abbreviations for the strategies that lead to that outcome.
