Graphical Representation of the Average Product of Labor

In an agricultural economy model, the relationship between the number of farmers and their average product is represented by a downward-sloping curve on a graph. This shape illustrates the principle that as the number of farmers increases on a fixed amount of land, the average product of labor falls. For instance, when the workforce is small (e.g., 200 farmers), the average product is high (e.g., 855 kg of grain per farmer), but this output per farmer steadily decreases as more labor is added.
