- No significant effect of condition on individual productivity
- But, significant effect of condition on individual contribution to team's overall productivity (both ingroup and outgroup team participants contributed more to the team than lean space participants)
- Those in the ingroup space felt more identification with the room's previous occupants
- Outgroup participants felt significantly greater competition with the room's previous occupants

Individual Outcomes (Identity Signaling & Workplace Productivity)

- Used R to determine if space manipulation affected productivity via team identification or competition
- Team identification had marginal effects on individual contribution to the team in the ingroup condition (no mediatory effects of identification on outgroup condition)
- Thus, increased productivity in ingroup space can be at least somewhat attributed to team identification (this cannot be said for the outgroup condition, however)
