How are MRIs useful?
- useful for detecting brain conditions such as: aneurysms, spinal cord injuries, stroke, infections, hydrocephalus, tumors, cysts, hemorrhage, etc
- head MRIs may be useful analyzing symptoms like: weakness, seizures, blurry vision, headaches, changes in behavior and thinking, and dizziness
- useful for individuals who may need brain surgery
- fMRIs are able to point out areas of the brain responsible for body movement, language and speech
- magnetic resonance angiography (MRA)
