Hyperthymesia (Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory)
Hyperthymesia, also known as highly superior autobiographical memory, is an extremely rare condition where individuals can recall an immense number of their life experiences in vivid detail. As of 2006, scientific studies had identified fewer than 20 people with this ability. The condition typically manifests during adolescence, although there are rare cases of children exhibiting it before their tenth birthday.

Marilu Henner's Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory
60 Minutes Segment on Superior Autobiographical Memory
A 40-year-old individual claims to have a perfect memory. When tested, they can vividly describe what they ate for lunch, the weather, and a news event they heard on the radio for almost any given date since they were 12 years old. However, they perform at an average level when asked to memorize a list of random words or recall historical facts they did not personally experience. Which statement best analyzes this individual's cognitive profile?
