Independence of Intelligence Scores in Sternberg's Theory
Within Sternberg's triarchic model, the three types of intelligence—practical, creative, and analytical—are not necessarily correlated. An individual can exhibit a high level of practical intelligence without having similarly high levels of creative or analytical intelligence, and vice versa.
