Indirect Labor Time in Electrical Job Tracking

Indirect labor time is paid crew time that supports a job but does not directly create installable electrical work. Examples include driving to a supplier, unloading material, staging tools, cleaning the work area, or waiting for another trade to finish. Recording this time separately from direct installation hours helps a contractor tell whether a labor overrun came from estimating mistakes, supply delays, scheduling gaps, or poor coordination on site.
