کشف وقایع مریدان / Kashf al-Waqa'i: The Master's Unveiling of Disciples' Inner States as the Charism of the Perfect Shaykh

In Hujwiri's Kashf al-Mahjub, Abu al-Qasim Ali al-Kurrakani is singled out as a manifest sign (آیتی ظاهر) in the unveiling of the inner states of his disciples — کشف وقایع مریدان. This names a recognized charism of the perfected Sufi master: the God-given discernment (a form of firasa or kashf) by which a shaykh perceives the hidden spiritual conditions, temptations, and progress of the seekers under his care. Al-Hujwiri ties this gift directly to al-Kurrakani's authority as a guide: the hearts of all the people of the Sufi court turn to him and seekers place their trust in him, and because he can read each disciple's inner condition he can prescribe the exact spiritual practice (معاملت / mu'amala) that each one requires. Grasping this charism clarifies why the shaykh–murid bond, rather than book-learning alone, is treated as a central training instrument of the Sufi path.
