In the research study regarding stigma against women with postpartum psychological disorders, the control group read a vignette describing a new mother experiencing no symptoms. Experimental participants read vignettes describing new mothers experiencing either depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), specific phobia, or psychosis.
