No-Shirking Condition

The no-shirking condition is a mathematical inequality that sets the terms a wage must meet to ensure an employee chooses to work diligently. It requires that the payoff for the employee from exerting the necessary effort is greater than or equal to the payoff they would receive from shirking. The wage is the key variable in this condition.
