Personality Clusters in the Continental United States

A map of the continental United States illustrates three distinct regional personality clusters based on a large-scale study. The legend defines these clusters by their dominant traits and general locations: Cluster 1 is 'friendly, conventional' and is found mainly in the center of the country. Cluster 2 is 'relaxed, creative' and is located primarily on the west side. Cluster 3 is 'temperamental, uninhibited' and occurs mainly in the Northeast and Texas. These groupings are generalizations, as some states show a combination of different clusters.
