Primacy vs. Recency Effect in Persuasion

The order of arguments impacts persuasion differently based on timing. The primacy effect, where the first argument is more influential, tends to occur when messages are delivered back-to-back. In contrast, the recency effect, where the last argument is more persuasive, is more likely when there is a time delay after the first message and before a decision is made.
