Profit Margin

In microeconomics, the profit margin on a unit of a product is defined as the difference between its selling price (P) and its marginal cost of production (c). This metric, calculated as (P - c), is a crucial determinant of the slope of a firm's isoprofit curve. A larger profit margin indicates greater profit per unit sold.
