Rationale for Optimal Allocation

An individual is making a choice between two goods, constrained by a feasible frontier. Explain why any point where their indifference curve crosses the feasible frontier cannot be an optimal choice. In your explanation, describe the two possible ways the curves can cross and, for each case, identify the incentive that would lead the individual to a better outcome by reallocating their choice along the frontier.
