Reasoning in Case Studies vs. Experimental Research

Different research methodologies prioritize different forms of reasoning. Case studies, for example, are strongly associated with inductive processes, where researchers collect vast amounts of empirical data to identify patterns and generate new ideas. Conversely, experimental research places a strong emphasis on deductive reasoning, focusing on testing specific hypotheses.
