For the second research question (why students chose to major in computer science and what changes there were or not over time regarding said reasons), results indicated, for women regarding reasons that changed over time:

• women interested in the sciences were more likely to join the computer science major, and this reason has become more predictive of that over time
• women who were interested in the arts used to indicate that they were less likely to be a computer science student but over time, this has become less predictive, indicating that artistic women are less likely to avoid computer science
