Comparison
Results of the 2010 Mindfulness Pilot Study for Minority Children
In a 2010 pilot study, minority children receiving a mindfulness intervention (MI) reported lower levels of depression over time compared to those receiving a health education intervention (HEI). Both groups had decreased anxiety symptoms over time, and descriptive data indicated that the MI group had greater decreases than the HEI group.
