Results(The Impact of Online Graduate Students’ Motivation and Self-Regulation on Academic Procrastination)

The data were analyzed using multiple regressions. The PASS procrastination score was entered in as the dependent variable, and the MSLQ was entered in as the independent variable. It was found that the independent variables had a significant influence on procrastination(effort regulation t=-2.63 p<.01, intrinsic motivation t=-2.34 p<.05). In addition, the results indicated that as intrinsic motivation/effort regulation decreases, procrastination increases.
