Socialism

Socialism is an economic and political system where the means of production (such as factories, land, and capital) are socially or state-owned and controlled, rather than privately owned. The primary goal is to distribute wealth and resources more equitably among the population. Production is often organized to meet social needs directly, rather than to generate profit for private owners in a competitive market.
