Square Root of a Non-Perfect Square

The square root of any number that is not a perfect square presents as a decimal that neither stops nor repeats. Unlike perfect squares, which always yield an integer or rational root, taking the square root of a non-perfect square produces a decimal expansion that continues indefinitely without any repeating pattern.
