Stakeholder Interests in a Risky Investment

A manufacturing plant, which is the primary employer in a small town, is considering a significant, but risky, investment in new automation technology. This investment could either lead to substantial growth and increased profits or, if it fails, could jeopardize the plant's future. Analyze why the plant's owners, its salaried managers, and its hourly-wage employees all have a common interest in the success of this investment, despite their different roles within the organization.
