Standards for Section 504 of The Rehabilitation Act of 1973 for Juvenile Justice Rehabilitation Centers
Juvenile justice rehabilitation centers are required to meet FAPE standards for all students with disabilities in these facilities. This also means they are required to comply with standards provided in section 504 regarding how to properly handle misconduct that is related or caused by a students disability.
