According to the results of the study, for teachers:

• proper teaching based on science inquiries (helping students to question and experiment on scientific principles) helped close the achievement gaps but to a certain point; lower SES students required extra support like funding and sponsoring from non-school organizations to help students
• teaching can help students who suffer from the achievement gap through flexible and personalized education that involves all students learning fairly and equally, as well as being aware of what instructional styles are working for which students and being able to change them when necessary
