Substance/Medication-Induced Psychotic Disorder as a Differential Diagnosis to Psychotic Disorder Due to Another Medical Condition
This can include medicines, drugs, and alcohol related side-effects. If the symptoms occur during or within 4 weeks of intoxication, then the substance/medication-induced psychotic disorder diagnosis should be considered.
