Permissioned, token-less blockchains offer several advantages for the public sector. They provide a valid solution for governmental online services (such as ID cards, land and medical records, e-voting systems, and tax collection), ensuring data is protected long-term without interference from cryptocurrency markets. Additionally, these networks are substantially free of scalability issues, may have performance advantages over public blockchains, and feature a more efficient architectural design compared to traditional systems.
