The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) created by Fred Davis in 1989, is the most widely used model in determining factors that’ll affect a person’s acceptance of new technology. The TAM model focuses on two main factors: Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), and Perceived Usefulness (PU). According to the TAM model, external variables influence individuals' internal beliefs, and the sequential relationship between individuals' personal beliefs, attitudes, and behavioral intentions leads them to use the actual system. 

The Technology Acceptance Model 

The DL&ML model (2003) is a broad assessment of the extent to which information system succeed. It involves a combination of six components, of which three are the most crucial: service quality, system quality, and information quality. It looks into how these factors affect user satisfaction and their intention to use the technology.

Whether or not a student (or anyone) will accept the use of new technology. It weighs the pros and cons of adapting to what technology was presented. There are many proposed models that suggest what cognitive processes someone will have that may influence their decision to accept certain technology.
