The Allegory of Bu Ali Tusi, Mir Kariz, and the Path from God to God in Mosibat Nameh
This allegory in Attar's Mosibat Nameh describes a dialogue between the mystic Bu Ali Tusi and Mir Kariz concerning the direction of the spiritual journey. Tusi asks whether the path opens from God to the servant or from the servant to God. Mir Kariz replies that the path is from God to God ('راه از حق به حق'), asserting that since there is no ultimate reality other than the Divine, the seeker, the journey, and the destination are all unified in God's existence.
