The Allegory of the Renowned Man and the Tablet of Eternity in Mosibat Nameh

In this section of Attar's Mosibat Nameh, a renowned man complains to a Sheikh about his weariness of servitude and feeling disconnected from the Divine. The Sheikh advises him to persist in his devotion and to look towards the Tablet of Eternity (divine decree) rather than relying solely on his own knowledge and actions. This allegory emphasizes humility, persistence, and ultimate reliance on divine grace over personal spiritual striving.
