The Allegory of the Sage and the Woman on True Wealth in Haft Awrang

In Section 26 of Jami's Haft Awrang, the story of the sage's transaction with the woman illustrates the Sufi concept of wealth and charity. The sage teaches that material wealth hoarded for the future ('روز تیره') is transient and vulnerable to inheritance or plunder. Conversely, wealth spent on charity and helping others is transformed into everlasting spiritual treasure. This allegory emphasizes that true security lies in selfless giving rather than worldly accumulation.
