In Section 7 of Attar's Mosibat Nameh, an experienced sailor is asked about the wonders of the sea. Instead of speaking of sea creatures or storms, the sailor states that the greatest wonder is that any ship manages to reach the shore safely amidst constant, overwhelming waves.

The sailor explains that human tricks and strategies are useless against the mighty ocean and the unknown decrees of eternity. The poem concludes that the true path for a servant is absolute surrender to the Divine Will, emphasizing that safety and salvation come solely from obedience to God's decree, not from human contrivance.
