The Concept of the Speaking Soul as the Source of Divine Secrets in Khosrow Nameh

In Section 68 of 'Khosrow Nameh', Attar conceptualizes the 'speaking soul' (nafs-e gooya) as the ultimate mediator between the divine realm and human expression. The speaking soul serves as both the guardian of the heart's secrets and the conduit through which hidden spiritual truths are articulated. By attributing the survival and memory of humanity to this soul, Attar highlights the role of spiritual intellect and inspired speech in unlocking eternal mysteries and guiding the poet to resume the tale of Khosrow.
