The Fixed Input Constraint

A manufacturing firm operates out of a single factory of a fixed size. The firm can hire as many workers as it wants. Explain the economic reasoning for why, beyond a certain number of workers, the average quantity of goods produced per worker will begin to decline. In your answer, explicitly address whether this decline is caused by the new workers being less skilled than the original workers.
